Chelsea College of Arts will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of it’s location in Millbank with an alumni exhibition celebrating Artists and Designers that have graduated from the college since 2005.

I have been commissioned to design the Deutsche Bank Lounge at Frieze Art Fair this year. I devised a grid structure which is in dialogue with an installation by Raqs Media Collective (New Delhi) and dissects the entire space. The lounge will host a number of events including a conversation with Raqs and Hans Ulrich Obrist on Tuesday 14 at 2:30pm.

Please join us on Thursday July 12 from 7pm for Ersatzmonument, a collaborative work by Elisabeth Rosenthal, Magdalena Fabianczyk and Sebastian Acker. A video projection and sculptural elements suspended from the gallery ceiling focus on representations of sandstone, a material which in the city of Dresden is associated with regional identity and often a nostalgic longing for a lost past. 

Duveen Travel Scholarship

Phil Thompson and I have been awarded the Duveen Travel Scholarship for a research trip to China. We will visit reproductions of European towns near Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing later this year and present a new collaborative work in early 2014.
